FINAL DEGREE YEAR INTRO... SPEED DATING

With thanks, first of all, to Lucy Aebischer who inspired me to make cupcakes this summer and also to Debbie Cruickshank who taught me how make them ! To kick start our final year at uni I was involved in a "speed dating" day. This day was for all the final year students at Edinburgh College of Art to find 5 other students to collaborate with. All subjects had a 1 meter squared to prepare a stand to sell themselves. Above are some photos of my stall where I created wee cup cakes with my name and number as name tags. All 90 cupcakes were gone after three hours and I successfully made my 5 contacts !

Graduate Fashion Week shows

One of the best bits of GFW was attending all the catwalks. Above are some photographs of my favorite pieces.

Exhibition at London's Earls Court

Finally June had arrived and we were able to set up our exhibition stand at Earl's Court. Above are some images of the final space.

2010 Year start... building GFW exhibition stand

After our team perfected the design for Graduate Fashion Week, we started building it in our university wood workshop. Between the six of us it took about a month to build. Lots of late nights and bumps and bruises !

Graduate Fashion Week 2010

I was lucky enough to be part of a team to design an exhibition stand for the prestigious London Graduate Fashion Week this June. I worked closely with fashion students to create a unique space within Earls Court which would show case each student's collections.
